New Beginning
Hi, everyone!
I'm new to blogging, so please bear with me. I'm starting today to try to become a healthier person. I had a regular check-up with the doctor today, feeling like something that the cat dragged in. I have a number of health issues that require a lifestyle change. Lifestyle changes are no fun, but I think I'm at the point where I have no choice. I'm sure the doctor thinks I got to that point years ago! So I've made it through one day. I know God has a better life in mind for me. He's given me so many blessings. I need to do my part by taking proper care of myself. I hope to have a great testimony to share. I know my writing is a little choppy today, but I'm crazed with hunger. Just kidding!

Mary, so happy you're here! As I write this, day one is over and day two has begun. As I used to say after a labor contraction, that's one you'll never have to have again.
You're one day closer to feeling good.
And I'm feeling that little spark of inspiration from you to follow my own plan today.
:)
Mary. That's the key, ONE day at a time. No frets about yesterday, no worries about tomorrow. If you have a chance, check out the saying under my title at my blog.

My best to ya...you are NOT alone.

Hi Mary! It feels good to make a decision about your health and know that you are working on it, doesn't it? I want to hold onto that feeling because it will get me through tough temptations. This may seem to some people like a crazy time to start living healthier, but I figure why wait until Jan 1st when I could start today. It's nice to have a support group to help.
Tami and Ruth -
